Date: Stoneware Studios


My wonderful boy, Daniel, recently took me to a ceramics studio called Stoneware Studios on the west side of Wichita. Although a bit pricier than an average date, it was SO worth it! We drank hot cocoa as we decided between hundreds of different ceramic structures to paint. Everything from cups, plates, and mugs, to teapots, figurines, and pendants. One could design a whole stemware set for themselves if they so desired! The people running Stoneware Studios were very friendly and I believe the owners are Christians. I saw scripture verses and loving encouragement painted upon so many of the "example" pieces nailed to the walls. It is a cheery environment, and i can't wait to have a party there...maybe plan a girls activity for the younger ladies of my church. or a family outing. this place is probably more beneficial to those ages 8 or older. there's just a lot of mess with the glazes and paints. Daniel and I went on a Wednesday and were able to pick our creations up the following Wednesday! Here are some before and after takes:
