Intoxication Misguided

It took all my life to sober up
The intoxication
was myself.
But then I finally realized
That I couldn't think when I was around.

I look to the left
I look to the right
I could've sworn I wore the crown
But when I finally looked up
I found my Jesus looking down

Take this cup
