Raven
Hidden beneath a raven’s eye
A desperate silence
A deafening cry
Her heart is beating
Lips are stilled
Her plastic smile
With lies is filled
Do I excuse or do I pardon?
A heart of tears
A soul that’s hardened
A tarnished gate
Into the garden?
The raven crows
She veils her face
And her desires
For beauty chase
oh what a waste
wing shadowed smile
the silhouette lasts but a while
eternal smile
careless grin
eternal joy
comes from within.
