Reciplease- Golden Seafood Tart and World's Best Honey Cornbread

I made this Golden Seafood Tart recipe from Pampered Chef for my most recent book club meal. It was a huge hit and is surprisingly easy to make.

4 oz cooked shrimp, chopped (2/3 cup)
1/2 cup broccoli, chopped
1/4 cup celery, chopped
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, pressed
4 oz monterey jack cheese, shredded (1 cup)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 dash ground black pepper
1 pckg (15 oz) refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
1 egg, lightly beaten

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Chop shrimp, broccoli, celery and onion; place in 1 quart bowl. Press garlic over shrimp mixture. Shred cheese. Add cheese, mayo, mustard and black pepper to bowl; mix well. Place one pie crust on 13" round pan. Spread shrimp mixture over crust to within one inch of edge. brush edge with egg. top with remaining crust; pinch edges together. cut slits in top of crust. brush with remaining egg.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cut into wedges. Serve!

And just for a bonus, i'm adding this amazing cornbread recipe i made yesterday. It's seriously yum. Got it from http://moneysavingmom.com/2011/01/worlds-best-honey-cornbread-recipe.html

World's Best Honey Cornbread
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2/3 cup sugar (i used turbinado)
1/4 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
1/2 cup honey
1 1/3 cups milk
2 1/3 cups flour
1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt

Cream sugar and butter. Add in eggs, honey and milk and mix well.

Mix together flour, baking powder, cornmeal and salt. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients carefully. do not overmix. batter will be lumpy.

Pour batter in greased 11x14 baking pan. Bake 35 mins or until golden brown (mine was done in 30 mins).

Husband tried to eat it all in one night. And if you knew how much that man can eat, you might think that he did. However, this bread proved to be extremely filling and, well...humbling to a man who eats pizza pies like they are little skittles. Now i'm bringing it over to family dinner tonight. Sorry, babe.:)
